Service and contact

This notice concerns Tesla Hub at tesla.web-tehnik.com. For service and data questions, contact the administration using the contact details at web-tehnik.com.

Location

When GPS is enabled, your browser requests location permission. Application code processes coordinates, speed and acceleration inside your browser to drive the instruments and sound synthesis; it does not transmit these values to our server or video providers. You can revoke location permission in browser settings.

Preferences and cookies

The technical cookie drive_lang stores your language for up to one year. Engine, audio, color, instrument style and display preferences are stored in browser localStorage until you remove them. These preferences restore your settings; the current application code includes no advertising or analytics trackers.

Server requests

The web server and hosting provider may keep technical logs containing IP address, request time, URL and query parameters, browser information and request result. A video-page URL may contain the submitted video link or ID. Log configuration and retention are determined by the administration and host; contact the administration for details.

Video and external links

Starting a video connects your browser to the selected Invidious instance. That independent operator receives request data, including IP address and video ID, and may use its own logs, cookies and other technologies. Its own policies apply, and processing may take place abroad. Telegram and other linked sites apply their own policies.

Your options

You can disable GPS, clear cookies and localStorage in browser settings and avoid launching external videos. Contact the administration about access, correction, erasure, objections and other rights under applicable law. This notice does not replace consent where consent is legally required.

Internet radio

After you press Play, radio connects directly to the selected third-party station. Its stream provider receives your IP address and technical request data under its own privacy policy. Favorites, the last selected station and volume are stored locally in your browser. Clear site data to remove them.

Sending a link from your phone

When a QR code is created, the server temporarily stores random pairing keys and the sent video ID. Pairing lasts up to 10 minutes; the video ID is cleared after the display retrieves it. Temporary records are deleted when pairing closes or during cleanup on later requests. A hash of the IP address is temporarily stored to limit code creation frequency. The sending mechanism does not store the full YouTube link. Keep the QR code private.

Weather forecast

Weather is enabled by pressing Show weather and granting location access. Coordinates are rounded to two decimal places and sent to the Tesla Hub server, which requests and caches MET Norway forecasts. The provider receives rounded coordinates and our server IP address. GPS data for instruments and sound remains processed in the browser. Weather activation is stored in sessionStorage until the tab closes. Forecasts are approximate; update time is shown on the card.

Terms of use and responsibility

Purpose and safe use

This service is for entertainment. It does not control the vehicle, replace factory instruments or measure speed precisely. Configure the application and watch video only while parked. Keep your attention on the road and the volume low enough to hear warnings, horns and sirens.

User responsibility

By using the service, you accept these terms and assess its suitability for your purposes. You are responsible for your actions and compliance with traffic rules, vehicle instructions and applicable law. You assume the risks of use only to the extent that the law permits those risks to be allocated to you.

No guarantees

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is and as available. GPS accuracy, audio latency, third-party video availability, compatibility and uninterrupted operation are not guaranteed. Stop using the service if it malfunctions or becomes unstable.

Limits of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the administration is not liable for losses caused by misuse, inaccurate device data, connectivity failures or independent third-party providers. This does not exclude liability for the administration’s own acts where exclusion is prohibited, or limit mandatory consumer or data-protection rights.

Independence and updates

Tesla Hub is not an official product of Tesla, YouTube, Google or the vehicle manufacturers shown. Names identify and describe products. Updates are published on this page with a revision date; mandatory law takes precedence.
